He is survived by: his children, Thad Wells (Rachel) of Dandridge, Rachel McGlothlin (Tyler) of Bristol and Hannah Culpepper (Benjamin) of Dallas; and his grandchildren, Stanton, Hankins, Lottie, Sibbie, Georgie, Harper and Isla. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
