She was predeceased by : her parents, Charlie Shaffer and Lizzy J. Shaffer; her children, Elizabeth Wilson and Ruben Shipley; and her brothers, Conley, Carson, Curtis, Edward and Fred Shaffer.

She is survived by : her daughters, Linda Bush and Marylou Cavalier.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to the American Stroke Association in memory of Geneva.
