It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ida Pauline Barlow of Bristol, Virginia, who passed away on November 20, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Donald Dye and Kate Dye; her husband Robert Barlow; her son Darrell S. Barlow; her son-in-law Jeffrey L. Weaver; and her siblings, Doris Peters, Frank Dye and Elmo Dye.

She is survived by : her daughters, Kathy Barlow Weaver Dearman (Jeff) and Trina Fraley (Frank); her grandchildren, Mandie Farmer and Chase Weaver (Allison); her great grandchildren, Ryan Farmer, Blake Watkins and Everly Weaver; her brother Harry Dye; and her sister-in-law Evelyn Dye. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.

“Hi,, I'm Leigh Barlow,I am Darrell Barlows daughter. This is my Grandmother. I love her, I miss her. I always did. I'm happy knowing she's at peace now, away from her chaotic daughter Kathy. It must be such a relief for my loving GRANDMOTHER to now be at home, where she wanted to be. Love you mamaw.”
