She was predeceased by: her parents, Herschel Miller and Mary Miller; her brother Jack Miller; and her stepdaughters, Kay Hubbard and Sonya Seawright.

She is survived by: her children, Ruby Armitage, James (Kathy Price), Zella Shell and Paulette Handy; her stepdaughters, Linda Hubbard, Monica Stanley and Benita Blackwell; and her grandchildren, Janelle Armitage, Crystal Armitage, Jonathan Armitage, Brad Wagner, Roger Lee Knight, Josh Knight, Julie Knight, Brian Handy, Brad Handy and Angel Tooley. She is also survived by 12 great grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.
