We announce the death of John Edward Sapp of Bristol, Virginia, born in Lawtey, Florida, who passed away on June 24, 2026, at the age of 86. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Sapp and Bessie Sapp; his close friend Ollie Bell; his son Steve; his grandchildren, Shirley, Johnny, Alex, Aya-Rose, Derrick and Dynasty; his siblings, James and Alice; and his sons-in-law, Mike, Wally and Eddie.
He is survived by: his children, Judy, Marie, Kathy, Shelby (Joey) and Roy; and his pet Belle. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren, 17 great great grandchildren.
