She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Edward Joyce and Flossie Mae Shelton Joyce; her granddaughter Bailey Holmes; and her sisters, Mary Gray (Bill) and Betty Booth (Bill).
She is survived by: her brothers, Ed Joyce and Kenneth Joyce; her brother-in-law Frank Holmes; her nephew Odell Gray; her husband Robert Holmes; her sons, Timothy Holmes (Amy) and Mark Holmes; her siblings, Margaret Dye (Don) and Phillip Joyce (Linda); her grandchildren, Samantha Perkins (John), Elizabeth Macintire, McKinley Holmes, Patrick Penney, Robert Penney and Sean Penney; her great grandchildren, Harley Perkins, Ryder Macintire, Luca Penney, Jayden Winn, Caroline Winn and Maddie Penney; and her brother-in-law Donald Holmes (Sharon).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 4th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Singleton Funeral and Cremation Service (1116 Cedar Valley Dr, Cedar Bluff, VA 24609). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
