Maxine Wagner Obituary
We are sad to announce that, on February 20, 2026, at the age of 85, Maxine Wagner of Bristol, Virginia passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Maxine Wagner to pay them a last tribute.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Maxine shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Maxine farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Jess Isom and Sarah Elizabeth Isom (Easley). She is survived by: her children, Lee Wagner (Denise), Pernell Wagner, LaVonda Wagner (Susan), Stephanie Wagner (Johnny) and Donna Lawrence (Alan); and her sisters, Eula Wheeler and Arlene Jefferies. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
In remembrance of her life and faith, the family invites donations to Lee Street Baptist Church, 1 W Mary Street, Bristol, VA 24201, in memory of Maxine Wagner.
