She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry Owen and Elsie Wright Groseclose; her husband Charles "Sam" Vaughan; and her siblings, Harry Groseclose Jr., James Groseclose, Bill Jack Groseclose, Darrell Groseclose, Brenda Morefield and Nancy Badger.
She is survived by: her children, Michael Vaughan (Mary Ann) of Silver Spring, MD and Teresa V. Swiney (David) of Bristol, VA; and her grandchildren, Brent Swiney, Rebecca Vaughan and Brad Swiney. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Frost Funeral Home (250 E Main St, Abingdon, VA 24210). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 7:00 PM at the same location.
