He is survived by: his wife Nina Phillips; his daughter Shenoah Phillips (Tyler Sluss) of Castlewood, Virginia; his granddaughters, Makia O'Dell (Nelson) of Greenville, Mary Elisabeth Hawkins of St. Paul and Briley Faith Phillips of St. Paul, Virginia; and his siblings, Linda Kegley (John) of Abingdon, Sharon McMillian (Craig) of Abingdon, Virginia and Luther Phillips, Jr. (Shana) of Lebanon, Virginia. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews.
