It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thelma Bernice Hawkins of Bristol, Virginia, who passed away on January 18, 2026, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Duncan and Inez Duncan; her husband Charles Hawkins; her son Charles Hawkins, Jr. (Chuck); her grandson Keith Fleenor; her brother Donnie; her sister-in-law Helen Duncan; her sister Wilma Sturgill; and her brother-in-law Ralph Webb.
She is survived by: her daughter Sheri Fleenor (Tim); her granddaughter Sarah Fleenor; her great grandchildren, Orion Fleenor, Sadie, Tobias Goodson, Nolee, Nevaeh Wheeler, Canden and Kyson Wheeler; her siblings, Ernest Duncan (Judy), Tommy Duncan (Irene), Bobby Duncan (Sandra), George Duncan (Willie), Steve Duncan (Terri) and Betty Webb; and her brother-in-law Larry Sturgill. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
