He is survived by: his son Tim Weiss (Karen); his brother Billy (Vanessa); his granddaughter Hannah Hawkins; and his close friend Haroldine Ward.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, October 26th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Forest Lawn Cemetery (2858 North Carolina Hwy 150, Lincolnton, NC 28092).
