She was predeceased by: her parents, John W. Bowers Jr. and Janelle Tyree Bowers. She is survived by: her husband Don F. Jordan; her children, Elizabeth Janelle Jordan Carroll (Jeff) and John Lucas Jordan (Tonia); her grandchildren, Calloway Jordan, James Carroll and Hunter Jordan; her siblings, Jackie Williams and Rosie Roberts; and her half-sister Beverly Wilson. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and many friends.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Maple Grove Presbyterian Church (14411 Black Hollow Rd, Abingdon, VA 24210).
At her request, no flowers, everyone "Come as you are", and no black. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her honor to The James Cancer Center, 1480 West Lane Avenue, Columbus, OH 43221 or Maple Grove Presbyterian Church, 14411 Black Hollow Road, Abingdon, VA 24210.
