He was predeceased by: his parents, Eugar Widener and Ora Widener; and his sister Reba Rosenbaulm. He is survived by: his wife Betty Widener; his stepchildren, Chris Brown (Cheryl) and Becky Milam; his grandchildren, Baxley, Ryan, Woody and Christopher; his great grandchildren, McKenna, Raegan, Aubree, Harper and Dakodah; and his siblings, Jake Widener (Lilly) and Wilma Wright.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Blevins Funeral & Cremation Services (417 Lee St, Bristol, VA 24201). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Mountain View Cemetery (1019 Valley Dr, Bristol, VA 24201).
