He is survived by: his son Emanuel Gudger; his siblings, Michael Fersner (Dorthea), Hope Ampudia (Rob), Jerry Johnson, Troy Fersner and Arthur Fersner; his brother-in-law Robert Stewart; his stepmother Carolyn W. Johnson; and his siblings' children, Marshena Fersner, Iena Greene, Jeri Stewart, Brittany Yates, Megan Yates, Ashleigh Fersner, Brooke Fersner and Kyle Fersner. He is also survived by many great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Lee Street Baptist Church (1 W Mary St, Bristol, VA 24201). A celebration of life will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, August 1st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Mountain Home National Cemetery (Mountain Home, TN 37684).
