She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Baylus Whorton, Sr. and Lois Utz Whorton. She is survived by: her husband Jim "Smokey" Winstead; her son Carson L. Winstead; and her siblings, Jackie Whorton Rawlings, Marke, Vickie Whorton Watts, Riley, Frank B. Whorton II and Judy. She is also survived by five nieces, six nephews.
