He was predeceased by: his parents, William Lewis Reed and Beatrice Bernice Johnson Reed; and his siblings, Charles Reed, Wilton Algernon Reed, Joan Antoinette Reed Ellis and Joyce Carlette Reed Davenport.
He is survived by: his wife Warrennette Reed; his children, Stephanie Gerard Reed and Michael Charles Anthony Reed; his granddaughter Skylar Paige Turner; and his sisters, Jacqueline Reed Orr and Jean Allegra Reed Ham (Darryl K. Ham). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
A funeral service was held on Wednesday, August 20th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Pierce Funeral Home (9609 Center St, Manassas, VA 20110). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, August 20th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the Quantico National Cemetery (18424 Joplin Rd, Triangle, VA 22172). A reception was held on Wednesday, August 20th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Pierce Funeral Home (9609 Center St, Manassas, VA 20110).
