She was predeceased by: her parents, Sturn H. Tusing and Mary "Kate" Stayner Tusing; and her siblings, Eugene "Jack" Tusing, Clayton Tusing, Donald Tusing, Phyllis Trumbo and Connie Shifflett.
She is survived by: her son Lester Lohr (Pam) of Broadway; her granddaughter Ashley Newcity (Colin) of Penn Laird; her great grandchildren, Gray and Wells Newcity; her brothers, Ellis Tusing of Harrisonburg and Terry Tusing (Pat) of Timberville; and her sister-in-law Eleanor Tusing of Broadway. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association in Betty's memory.
