In the hush of twilight, as the stars twinkle in silent homage, we reflect on the legacy Charles Edward leaves behind and his impact on the lives of his loved ones. Though Charles Edward may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the memories held dear by his family and friends, a guiding light that illuminates their paths in times of darkness.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Catherine O'Roark (Armentrout) and Walter E. O'Roark; his brother Gene Emanuel O'Roark; and his uncle Claude Armentrout. He is survived by: his sister Nellie Seiver (O'Roark) of Stephens City; his cousin Elmer Lee Armentrout of Lacey Spring; his wife Ann Margaret O'Roark (Graves); his children, Charles Edwin O'Roark (Judi) of Oak Ridge, NC and Karen Ann Sions (Lawrence) of Rockingham; and his grandson Thomas Patrick Sions.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Grandle Funeral Home (148 E Lee St, Broadway, VA 22815). A memorial service will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Fellowship United Methodist Church (696 Fellowship Rd, Harrisonburg, VA 22802).
