Claude Halterman Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Claude Halterman of Broadway, Virginia, who passed away on July 25, 2025, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Hayes and Mary Ellen Payne Newland; his siblings, Audrey Hedrick, Donna Minnick and Elwood Halterman; and his half-sister Jeanette Newland.
He is survived by: his daughters, Jill Lynette Buracker (Terry) and Vivienne Marie Oriane (A. J. Foltz); his grandchildren, Dustin Tyler Halterman, Kaitlyn Elaine Rawlings, Cheyana Buracker, Ansel Monroe Foltz and Lionel "Leo" Hayes Foltz; his great grandchildren, Bentley Halterman, Deaquan Rawlings, Braxton Halterman and Tyrese Sabarre; and his brother Lynwood Halterman.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Bridgewater Challenger Baseball, 759 Weavers Road, Rockingham, VA 22802.
