It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel Peter Gemerek of Broadway, Virginia, who passed away on August 20, 2025, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Earl and Eileen Marie Wert Gemerek. He is survived by: his children, Jay and Joanna Foley; his sister Deneice Townsend (Paul); his stepsister Susan Wittig; his nieces, Jody Townsend and Robyn Townsend; his great-nephew Ethan; his close friends, David Harms, Joe, Teresa Alex and Kim Heitman; and his brother-in-law Barry Getz (Cory).
