The memory of David Alden of Broadway, Virginia, who passed away on May 25, 2025 at the age of 87, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. He was predeceased by: his parents, Orvis Peoples and Jessie Peoples; and his siblings, Orvis L. Peoples, Jr., Verla Jewell, Myrna French, Anita Burch, Wilmer Peoples and Vernon Peoples.
He is survived by: his wife Norma DeCoff (Micki); and his children, Wendy Reid (Steve) of Broadway, VA, Ray Remick (Debbie) of Hartland, VT, Joann Trottier (Ed) of Jericho, VT and Rose Murphy of Palm Coast, FL.
A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 30th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Grandle Funeral Home (148 E Lee St, Broadway, VA 22815). A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Riverside Cemetery.
