He was predeceased by: his parents, Eli R., Sr. and Tressie Jenkins Hornick; and his wife Karen Sue Turner. He is survived by: his siblings, Nancy Taylor, Ruth Jaso, Sue Burton, Elizabeth "Crickett" Guthrie and John Hornick; and his caregiver Debi Woolf. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
