With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Howard Pratt of Broadway, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 15, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Walter and Virginia Leona Davis Pratt; his brothers, Robert "Bobby" Pratt, Richard Pratt and Vernon Pratt; his children-in-law, Frances Pratt and Floyd Dooley Jr.; and his pet Rascal.
He is survived by: his children, Joey Pratt of Bridgewater, Jimmy Pratt (Cindy) of Dryfork, Cindy Holsinger (Jeff) of Broadway, Lisa Dooley Miller (Tom) of Rockingham and Becky Ritchie (Kirt) of Timberville; his sister Linda Nesselrodt (Jarrett) of Harrisonburg; his grandchildren, Steven Holsinger (Jennifer), Sarah Holsinger (Dane Boller), Kevin Pratt (Mandie Ruckman), Alyssa Cody Harpster (Bryce), Bryanna Andres (Marco), Kaylie Shifflett, Sumer Hott, Tanner Ritchie and Spencer Ritchie (Mandy); his great grandchildren, Jacob, Aspen, Kara, Quincy, Lincoln, Emilia, Eliyanah, Arian, Grayson, Blake and Evie; and his sisters-in-law, Barbara Pratt, Norma Pratt and Alice Pratt.
