Joyce Faye Thompson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Joyce Faye Thompson of Broadway, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on September 9, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Joyce may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Joyce touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lory A. Mathias and Hazel Parks Mathias; and her husband Michael B. Thompson. She is survived by: her daughter Lisa E. Smith (Duane Litten) of Broadway; her grandson Barry A. Smith of Broadway; her cousins, Gerald Crider and Angie Hulse; and her pet Shiloh.
