He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Austin and Nellie Fay Hinkle Smith; and his siblings, Barbara Ann Smith and Bobby Lee Smith. He is survived by: his children, Michelle Dove of Criders, Teresa Coleman of Bergton and Delray Smith of Rockingham; his grandchildren, Bradley Coleman of Bergton, Jesse Coleman of New Market, Dustin Coleman of Broadway, Nicole Buckler of New Market, Colton Smith of Fulks Run and Landon Smith of Fulks Run; and his sister Carolyn Corbin of Keezletown. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren.
