We announce the death of Peggy Sue Jennings of Broadway, Virginia, who passed away on September 16, 2026, at the age of 72. Peggy will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. Peggy will be remembered for the impact she had on the lives of those around her. Friends, family, and colleagues will cherish their memories and the time shared. Peggy’s absence will be deeply felt by those who valued her companionship.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Silas Rex Young and Wanda Genelle Young (Pate); and her husband David Jennings. She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Moore (Michael), Elizabeth Collins (Kyle) and Bryan Havener (Jennifer); her grandchildren, Matthew Moore, Chase Havener and Claire Havener; and her siblings, Dennis Young, Yvonne Strawderman and Barbara Abbrescia.
A celebration of life was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Grace Mennonite Fellowship (209 Lacey Spring Rd, Harrisonburg, VA 22801).
