He was predeceased by: his mother Mabel Louise Braden; and his brother Jake Braden. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ray; his daughter Melissa Long of Elkton; his stepchildren, Cathy Dove of Mathias, WV and Pete Sampson of Clover Hill; his grandchildren, Jeremiah Long and Heather Braden; his great grandchild Jace Correa; and his stepgrandchildren, Tracey Conley, J. W. Dove and Kyle Sampson. He is also survived by four step great grandchildren and two step great great grandchildren.
