He was predeceased by: his parents, Hunter Boyle Fauber and Barbara Lou Bell; his stepfather Jerry Botkin; and his stepsibling Van Wesley Bell. He is survived by: his children, Branden Fauber, Brittany Gay (D. W.) and Destiney Shifflett (Jeremy); his grandchildren, Ava Gay, Layla Gay, Brynna Gay and Fisher Shifflett; his stepmother Alice Bell Fauber; his siblings, Tony Fauber (Buttons), Patsy Claytor Wanda (Dennis) and Donna Stroble (Barry); his stepsisters, Diane Hizer (Wayne) and Mary Garber; and his close friend Pamela Holsinger. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Grandle Funeral Home (148 E Lee St, Broadway, VA 22815).
