He was predeceased by: his parents, Loy Calvin and Velma Ruth Hottinger Lantz; his son Jonathan Lantz; and his stepson Jon Whetzel. He is survived by: his wife Martha "Marty" Johnson; his siblings, Diana Knight, Pat Hill and Calvin Lantz; and his nephews, Stewart Chapman (Chloe) and Jerry E. Johnson.
