He was predeceased by: his parents, William J. Hunter Sr. and Dorothy Hunter (Hadley). He is survived by: his wife Cathy; his brother Aaron Hunter; his children, Jeff Hunter (Amy), Cheryl Goss (Gary Goss) and Charlie Hunter (Janine); his grandchildren, Christina Haye (Jeff Haye), Megan Goss, Jonathan Goss, Chara Hunter, Will Hunter, Jordan Hunter, Nora Hunter, David Hunter, Nicholas Hunter, Lucy Hunter, Patrick Hunter and Alice Hunter; and his great grandchildren, Coralynn Haye and Jiren Haye.
Visitation will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Grandle Funeral Home (148 E Lee St, Broadway, VA 22815). A funeral service will be held on Friday, June 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Model A Ford Foundation Museum (http://www.mmafi.org) or to a scholarship fund of your choice.
