He is survived by: his wife Barbara Johnson of Brodnax, VA; his sons, William B. Johnson, Jr. (Tracey) of Brandywine, MD, Jermaine A. Johnson, Sr. (Nannette) of Wildomar, CA, Bryan S. Johnson of Brodnax, VA and Michael Holmes (Angela) of South Hill, Virginia; his son-in-law Michael Cobb of Port St; his great grandchildren, William B. "B. J." Johnson, III (Samantha), Brittany M. Johnson, Jermaine "Jay" Johnson, Jr. (Therese), Kendall Johnson and Gabriel Johnson; his grandchildren, Ronald, Alicia, Alexis, Romello Cypress, Malik Miles, Jr., Kamryn, Carter Johnson of Darryl, Kemp, Jr. and Avis J. Johnson; his sister Chillie A. Simmons of Jersey City, NJ; his sisters-in-law, Dorothy Nash of Philadelphia, PA, Catherine Baxley of Dinwiddie, VA, Josephine Baskerville of Richmond, VA, Barbara Baskerville of Bracey and Sarah Mathis (Willie) of Baskerville, VA; and his niece Vanessa Scott (Quentin) of Potomac, MD. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM and on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 10:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Friday, December 19th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Amity Baptist Church (1394 N Mecklenburg Ave, La Crosse, VA 23950).
