He was predeceased by: his wife Mamie P. Raymond; and his granddaughter Jennifer Whitby. He is survived by: his children, Robert H. Raymond, Jr. of Brodnax and Sandra Whitby Sellers (Ralph Yahne) of Chesapeake; his granddaughters, Melissa Williams of Norfolk, Heather Pratt (P. J.) of Virginia Beach and Kayla Shalaby (Maged) of Atsugi, Japan; his great grandchild Christopher "Jose" Merkley; and his brother Jimmy Raymond (Judy) of New York. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
