She is survived by: her sons, Rashaan Elam of Red House and Andre Elam of Brookneal; and her siblings, Patricia Elam of Brookneal, Frances Townsend of Brookneal, Iris Bates of Brookneal and Earl Elam. She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
