He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnie Edway Herndon and Odell Payne Herndon. He is survived by: his daughter Zelma Medley of Nathalie; his grandchildren, Linda Davis and Channing Davis (Andrea); and his great grandchild Zyahnia Stone. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and many devoted friends.
