He was predeceased by : his parents, Alvin Clark Milton and Mary Neal Milton; his grandson Landon Shaff; and his siblings, Byron, Garland, Harold Milton, Evelyn Kuykendall and Edna "Lace" Scott.

He is survived by : his wife Mary Owen Armistead Milton; his daughters, Margaret Shaff (Greg) of Roanoke and Amy Price (Mike) of Brookneal; his grandchildren, Caroline Jones (Jeremy), Mary Anne Price, Lee Price (Keya), Spenser and Sarah Shaff; and his great grandchild Elizabeth Jones.

A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 10th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Roanoke Presbyterian Church (444 Ridgeway Rd, Brookneal, VA 24528).

Memorial contributions may be made to Holiday Lake 4-H Educational Center, 1267 4-H Camp Rd., Appomattox, VA 24522.
