He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Clyde Adkins and Nancy Bowles Adkins; and his brother Dale Adkins. He is survived by: his son Daniel Adkins (Lauren) of Bedford; his granddaughters, Jayden Gross, Kylie Adkins and Arrianna Adkins; and his sister Donna Viar (Pete) of Rustburg. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
