He is survived by: his mother Lorna Hassell of Brookneal; his daughters, Angela Ward (James) of Brookneal, Michelle Hassell of Woodbridge and Renee Glover (Terry) of Lynchburg, Virginia; and his grandchildren, Tremaine, Kendric, Elijah, Daniel and Tyberius. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
