He was predeceased by : his parents, Charlie Wilson Elder, Sr. and Edna King Elder; his daughter Kimberly Faye Elder; and his brother Charlie Wilson Elder, Jr.. He is survived by : his wife Shirley Conners Elder of Brookneal; his sister Mary Elder Smith of Brookneal; his nieces, Cynthia Jennings of Gladys and Donna Waller of Phenix; his nephew Matthew Elder of Brookneal; and his sister-in-law Peggy Conners Elliott of Brookneal. He is also survived by great nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
