With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ronald Coleman Guthrie of Brookneal, Virginia, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 20, 2025 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Laura Captola Berkley Guthrie and Coleman Evans Guthrie; and his parents-in-law, Lloyd Tracey Ferguson and Claudia Ann Deavers. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Ferguson Guthrie; his children, Ronald Dustin "Dusty" Guthrie (Alison) of Moneta and Cherie Oleana Haskins (Timmy) of Appomattox; his grandsons, Justin Oneal Haskins, Tyler Oneal Haskins and Jacob Cole Haskins; his brother-in-law Lloyd Thomas "Tracy" Ferguson Jr. (Susan); and his close friends, Adam Vinoskey and Jeff Trail.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Robinson Funeral Home (667 Court St, Appomattox, VA 24522).
