He was predeceased by: his parents, Haywood Coates and Janie Hall Seamster. He is survived by: his wife Gale Landes Seamster; his children, Emily Paige Ayers and Frank Lee Moore; his siblings, Danny Seamster (Gaye) of Sophia, Jimmy Seamster of Farmville, Barbara S. Shrewsberry of Brookneal and Betty S. Austin of Brookneal; his sister-in-law Katherine Dunaway-Fariss; his great-niece Freya Rose; his daughter Donna S. Alexander (Tony); his grandsons, Anthony of Lynchburg and Jonathan of Lynchburg; and his caregivers, Leslie Angel, Karen Littles, Debbie Mann, Irene Wells and Cheryl Handy.
