She was predeceased by: her parents, Estel Epling and Carie Epling (Rowe); her former husbands, Bobby Green and Joe Waddell; her husband Emory Thompson; and her siblings, Chester Epling, Virgil Epling, Bobby Epling, Ruth Ruby, Chloe Chaney and Betty Thacker.
She is survived by: her sons, Ricky Green (Betty) of Harman, VA and Freddy Waddell of Grundy, VA; her grandchildren, Jason Green and Shana Green; her caregiver Sherry Dotson; and her sister Lucy Lyvone Smith of Monticello, KY.. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
