We are sad to announce that on May 7, 2025, at the age of 88, Gracie Baker of Buchanan, Virginia passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Chalie Wright and Fannie Wright (Burke); her husband Henry Baker Jr.; her son Jerry Glenn Baker; and her siblings, Clyde Wright, Burl Wright, Jimmy Wright, Johnny Wright, Russell Wright, Pauline Gillespie, Goldie Stanley and Marie Ramsey.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sharon Barnhardt (Paul) of Murrells Inlet, SC and Sandra Case (Michael) of Grundy, VA; her grandchildren, Cassandra Cornstubble (Michael), Lindsay Chappell, Jared Campbell, Miranda Combs (Derrick) and Hannah Baker; and her great grandchildren, Gracielynn Hill, Madison Chappell, Blakeleigh Cornstubble and Gavin Chappell. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
