She was predeceased by: her parents, Miles Childress and Rebecca Childress (Compton); her husband Blake Lee; her sons, Michael Lee, Ricky Lee, Randy Lee and Freddy Lee; and her siblings, L. C. Childress, Ondis Childress, Kathleen Bell and Ruth Grimsley.
She is survived by: her sons, Tim Lee of Grundy, VA and Rodney Lee (Kitty) of Grundy, VA; her daughters-in-law, Shirley Lee of Abingdon, VA and Vicki Lee of Christiansburg, VA; her grandchildren, Jessica Vanover (Dathan) of Grundy, VA, Trista Shah (Pranav) of Richmond, VA, Taylor Lee (Dan Smith) of Bristol, TN and Aaron Lee of Vansant, VA; her great grandchildren, Kaden Vanover, Beau Vanover, Ravi Shah, Nikhil Shah, Jedidiah Lee, Abram Lee, Josiah Lee and Parker Boyd; and her close friend Sharon Hanshaw. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Grundy Church of Christ (1348 Poe Town Rd, Grundy, VA 24614). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 10th 2025 at 7:00 PM and on Tuesday, November 11th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
