He was predeceased by: his parents, Hubert Harold and Mabel Lois Wimmer (Hall); and his former wife Brenda A. Wimmer. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Ann Wimmer (Jackson) of Patterson, VA; his sons, Jeff Wimmer (Sharon) and David Wimmer (Lara); his sister Patricia Ballard; his son Gregory Jackson; his grandson Austin Jackson (Bell); his daughter Debbie Baker; his grandchildren, Adam McCoy (Sarah) and Brittany Moore (Nick); and his great grandchildren, Asher McCoy, Walker McCoy, Bennett Moore and Baby Jackson.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the Grundy Funeral Home (22208 Riverside Dr, Grundy, VA 24614). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, June 15th 2025 at 7:00 PM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 16th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Temple Hill Cemetery (83 Main St, Bland, VA 24315).
