He is survived by : his daughter Shelia Johnson (David Eugene) of Grundy, VA; his stepchildren, Kelly Griffith (Scott) of Beckley, WV, Anthony Trent (Kimberly) of Asheville, NC and Stephen Trent (Paula) of Athens, GA; and his grandchildren, Tyler David Lee Johnson of Blacksburg, VA and McKenna Morgan Brown (Gary) of Lexington, KY.. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
