He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Ervin and Verna Lou Foster (Collins); his sister Judy Carol Ramey (Foster); and his brother-in-law Tommy Caral Daugherty. He is survived by: his wife Debbie Jean Foster (Daugherty); his daughter Crystal Leann Foster McCoy (Stanley); his grandchildren, Amelia Rae McCoy, Keisha Blair (Justin), Brittany Moore (Nick) and Adam McCoy (Sarah); his great grandchildren, Bennett "Little Man" Moore, Asher McCoy, Walker McCoy, Madison Blair, Bella Blair, Connor Blair, Willow Blair and Ellie Blair; his nephews, Wayne Winchester (Brandi), Shane Asbury and Shannon Asbury; his great-nephew Noah Winchester; and his close friend Minnie Foster.

Visitation was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Grundy High School (1300 Golden Wave Dr, Grundy, VA 24614). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 28th 2026 at 7:00 PM and on Saturday, August 29th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
