He was predeceased by: his parents, W. J. "Buck" Taylor, Sr. and Ethel Mae Shumaker Taylor. He is survived by: his sister Linda T. Banton (Clyde); his godson Brandon Shumaker (Maddie); his brother Terry Taylor (Carrie Ann); his goddaughter Kaitlin Woodson (Chad); his nephews, Darrell Banton (Teresa), Jerry Banton (Crystal) and Kerry Banton; his grandchildren, Sutton May, Ava, Tyler, Brandt and William Wayne; and his close friends, Gary Farrish, Dabney Palmore, Andy Palmore and Don Carter.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Glenmore Unit of the Buckingham County Volunteer Fire Department or Amedisys Hospice.
