With solemn reverence, we commemorate William Taylor Jr. of Buckingham, Virginia, whose life came to an end on October 9, 2025 at the age of 77, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, W. J. "Buck" Taylor, Sr. and Ethel Mae Shumaker Taylor. He is survived by: his sister Linda T. Banton (Clyde); his godchildren, Brandon Shumaker (Maddie) and Kaitlin Woodson (Chad); his brother Terry Taylor (Carrie Ann); his nephews, Darrell Banton (Teresa), Jerry Banton (Crystal) and Kerry Banton; and his grandchildren, Sutton May, Ava, Tyler, Brandt and William Wayne.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Dunkum Funeral Home (16923 Oak St, Dillwyn, VA 23936). A funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 12th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Monday, October 13th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Buckingham Community Cemetery (13595 W James Anderson Hwy, Buckingham, VA 23921).
Memorial contributions may be made to the Glenmore Unit of the Buckingham County Volunteer Fire Department or Amedisys Hospice.
