He is survived by: his daughter Lyla Miller-Harris; his significant other Sylvia Hite; his parents, Allie Douglas Harris Jr. and Carol Anderson Harris; his brothers, Wesley Harris (Jamie), Adam Harris (Sarah) and Matthew Short (Christina); and his pets, Bam, Dixie, Jinx, Tootie and Kiwi.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks for donations to be made to a fund for his daughter Lyla, in Jacob's memory.
