It is with sadness that the passing of Joan M. Kenny of Bumpass, Virginia is shared. Joan, born on December 20, 1930, passed away on September 21, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Florence Shafto McDaniel Wade and William E. McDaniel Sr.; her husband Orville Dadnum Mills Jr.; and her siblings, Patricia M. Moss, William E. McDaniel and Richard W. McDaniel.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cassandra M. Buhrman (Frank Buhrman) of Carroll Valley, Victoria M. Campbell (Doug Campbell) of Bumpass and Pamela J. Mills (Gary Ckodre) of Industry; and her brothers, Bruce S. McDaniel and John D. McDaniel. She is also survived by four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren.
A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 7th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Church of Our Saviour (17102 Mountain Rd, Montpelier, VA 23192).
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to the Church of Our Saviour.
