She was predeceased by: her parents, Miles Harding Gentry and Effie Bentley Gentry; her husband Bernard Flippo; and her siblings, Lena Gentry, Wilma Pierson, Lester Gentry and Pauline Hockaday.
She is survived by: her sons, Harry B. Flippo, Jr. (Cheryl), Robert W. Flippo and Dale A. Flippo (Sue); and her grandchildren, Debra Hodges (Brad), David Flippo (Julie), Amber Flippo-MacLennan (Eric), Andrew Flippo (Krista), Kaitlin Fanning, Ryan Fanning and Tara Fanning. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, and a number of nieces and nephews.
